Walterscheid Welsberg AG, a leading manufacturer of double cardan and cardan joints for agricultural and construction machinery, has been located in Welsberg for the past three years.
In these trying times, our employees showed solidarity with their fellow citizens who are in need of support. Over the course of our annual Christmas campaign “Donate your hours”, they donate the value of one or several work hours and the company tops up the amount.
As a result of this campaign, we managed to collect the impressive amount of 4.000,00 EUR in December 2020.
“We feel it is important to support institutions and projects in our region with this campaign. After consulting with our workers’ council, we decided to split up the donation to these three institutions: Krebshilfe Bezirk Oberpustertal (cancer charity), Oberpustertaler Lebensmittelausgabe OLGA (food charity) and KFS – Familien in Not Aktion “Engel gesucht” (relief fund for families in need)”, says director Andreas Kaufmann.
The official handing over of the cheques to the chosen institutions took place at our Welsberg location this week.
